Favorites from the Field

 This is will be last post on this blog.  I began in 2013 and end now in 2020.  This particular title brought the most joy to me and interest from the family.  We'll see where family history takes us now.

The Shirley's seem to have more fun than most!

We're not sure how, but Seth just keeps getting bigger and cuter!

Jessica turned 18 and celebrated in Washington.

CHRISTMAS ACROSS THE MILES

 

Karrie commissioned Bethany to carve us each an ornament for the exchange this year. 

Malea designed and made this adorable gnome nativity for us this year.  Janna made Seymour Reginald Hal III below who came with two beautiful cardinals.

 The Siottis came down for a five day visit over Christmas. Having Hyrum here made the holiday sparkle.  Brenda and Neldon hosted a traditional family gathering the day after Christmas and it's clear that the cookies were exceptional.

 Christmas was wonderful in Florida.

It was equally good in Lehi!

It couldn't  have been better in Arizona except it was closely followed by COVID hitting their household.

The Shirleys had lots of fun while the rest of us slept!

The Mitchell Ladies got matching sweaters.  Their family sent Great Dalmuti hats for the Shirley's enjoyment this year.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM HOME AND HERE IN UTAH

 We got the truck and van ready to sell.  The truck sold to a man from Idaho.  The van is still in the yard.

                        The Wilkins made a visit to see Grandpa M on their way to the airport.

We gratefully received some snow during December.

Meeting Seth was a highlight for the older cousins.

Grandpa had surgery on the ring finger of his right hand to remove a cancerous ulcer.  It required a skin graft, but it is healing well.

Grandpa's yard has been the center of much construction and noise this month as the long awaited Central Utah Water Project has been pushing through.

Ammon was baptized this month by Andrew. We were grateful to have been included due to current restrictions.  It was a day made bright by the Spirit.

This hawk used the Mellor's yard to hunt for a few days.

The Smiths had a private trip to see the wild horses with Uncle Kieth!

We enjoyed some one horse open sleigh riding and some tubing behind the 4 wheeler.  Andrew brought a date here and we enjoyed a fun evening with them. Janna and their four youngest came on Dec. 31 for the kids to enjoy their first real snow experience.
