We got a little bit of snow in January.

shopping in my school bus during the All State Choir run.

The heirloom quilt for Gil

Malea commissioned Katie to make a quilt for Gil long before he was born.  Aunt Katie designed it and pieced it together.  She brought it to Utah at Thanksgiving Time.  Laurel Roth did the quilting and binding.  When it was time to bind it, Laurel asked if I had any extra of the green fabric.  I told her the quilt was made in Arizona and that I was afraid not.  Before long, she contacted me and said she had found the exact fabric at JoAnn's in Spanish Fork.  It made me think Heaven wanted this quilt to be as special as the little boy it was for.  My part was the drop-off, pick-up, take photos and mail.
