JOURNAL HIGHLIGHT: This past week has brought some tenders mercies that let me know Heaven is aware of me and allowed me to feel the Love of God in a very personal way.

1. Malea, Colton and Gil have been in Irving CA this week to a world-wide conference with the people who made her heart value.  It was a true adventure and they were treated with such honor and dignity.  This honor brought joy to my heart because of the gratitude I feel for the technology that made it possible for Malea to be well and happy and to have baby Gil.

2.  I also have been so grateful that Laura and her family were in AZ with Katie’s family this week.  I love every minute my kids are together.

3. Mark and LeeAnn have been in FL with Janna this week, and the pictures of them together made me so happy.  Mark and LeeAnn paid for our family to go to Disneyland years ago and this felt like the long hoped for pay-back.

4. The work that Dave Anderson has done for us on our estate planning was an answer to prayer.  His willingness to do it without us incurring any more investment than we already had reminded us that the world is still full of wonderful, honest and caring people.

5. Tuesday we went out to lunch with Lionel and Linda, but because Bethany was driving for someone that afternoon I got dumped in Nephi for a while.  I decided to park near the County building and walk where I needed from there.  I ran into Rusty and had a good chat with him.  I think that brightened his life during a very dark time and it assured me that he is okay and strong enough to get through this trial.  Our meeting was not by chance!
