Wilkins in the snow!

We woke up Christmas Day to snow! It was Heaven's lovely gift.

I think I shouldn't have left my shoes outside.

This was Luke's first real snow experience.

The snow was light and powdery, so we molded a small snowman.

Andrea made a snow angel.  Luke kept trying to cover her with snow.

First you make a snowball....

then you through it at Aunt Andrea.

The face said it all. "Is this in my job description as favorite aunt?"

Do you think Luke likes snow?
Attack!
This was Luke's preferred way to built a snowman.

My favorite shot of the day!

The 2nd snow angel was perfect.

Chica on Christmas Day.
Chica and Cherokee. (Hard to tell who is bigger!)

We are down to only 2 cats.

Abby is a bit camera shy.

SNOW DAY # 2  12/26/2014

Leia was napping on our first snow experience so
she went out the next day.She didn't last long.

While Katie and Tyler were building a snow man, Luke dug out the
equipment out of the sand pile and moved it where he could play with it.

Katie

Building a snow man was tough because the top layer was pure powder.
This is a rare photo: An Arizona snow angel!

It was getting late and really chilly by the time the snowman was completed.

Tyler stuck it out to the bitter cold end and really enjoyed it.

Katie was "home."

THE NEXT MORNING THERE WAS FROST ON THE SNOWLADY.

With fog and this temperature....

Baby Jesus got frosted too.

We had a winter wonderland.

Christmas Morning 2014

Wow! We must of been super good this year!

This is the face of Christmas delight.
Love the leopard print PJ's.

It was so fun to the have Wilkins here.
It would have been pretty boring without them.

This was Andrea's main gift.  Do you think she knows what is inside?
(It was a 32" flat screen TV to go with the HD DVD player she got for her birthday.)

Santa left some gifts for the Grandkids, too.

Andrea

Leia had a bad hair night but it didn't matter.

Tyler is one of those truly gracious receivers.

Luke and Leia got a new school bus activity center.
It was quite a project to put together.

After over an hour they were down to applying the decals. The kids loved it!

Christmas Eve

The Pre-Christmas projects had all been delivered. :)

Grandpa and Katie helped see them to completion.

Our tree was all I imagined it would be.  The pictures do not do it justice.
The pine cones were from Florida. Thanks Abby and Janna!

Grandpa's train and village were up.

The Bell Tower and bridge.

This little cabin was my favorite. Thanks to all for the fun Christmas gift.

The Polar Express is on the move.

There was a new table cloth and we used Grandma Davis' dinner
ware for our Shepherd's meal. Andrea and the Wilkins were down.
Daniel Lee and Brian, Darcy and Rocky dropped by as well.

The FHE following invited the Spirit to linger.  Katie and Grandma
had short messages and we sang Christmas songs.  It was lovely.
