The Smiiths come to Utah

Katie and company headed home on June 16th, but Janna and her kids were able to stay a while longer.  Janna, Caden, Abby, Ammon and Sam were in and out because of a visit to see Nana and Scott's annual seminar in SLC. 

Grandma Anna started this rose from a bouquet given to Janna when she 

graduated from beauty school. It bloomed in all its splendor for her arrival.

We slid down the tarp, splashed in the pool, and made time for bunnies.

Caden and Grandpa did some things together.

Bethany and Cherokee provided evening rides.

Sarah-Jane has nearly perfected the splits.

Abby nearly made a trip to the moon from the swing.

Janna send a couple of pictures from their time in SLC. 

One of Janna and Abby's trip highlights was an early morning horse ride with Uncle Mark. Abby met Anna and they became fast friends and best cousins because of their shared love of horses.  Anna came and spent the day in Levan. 

Caden's foot surgery 6/15/2018

Through timing that could only be explained as Divinely assisted, Caden's foot surgery was scheduled at this office visit.  They had planned on making another trip for the surgery.

Caden is on his way.                         He's prepped and ready for surgery.

The surgery was successful and he slept like a baby!

In just a few days the casts were removed and replaced with boots and a wheel chair although he was not allowed to put any weight on his feet for two weeks.  He reverted to crawling.

Abby's Birthday 6/13/2018

Abby's birthday was the following day.  She had celebrated with some friends before coming, but we never miss a chance to celebrate....especially with Abby.

We did sparklers and "pop-its" as a finale.

The Smiths, Wilkins and Silottis were here to
 celebrate Bethany's 331st birthday. . 

Aunt Janna brought books for everyone and gave them out during the party.  

Then she shared a favorite with Bethany as part of the day's celebration.

We hope she gets her wish!

Payson Lakes

Our day trip included a picnic near Payson Lakes.

We also enjoyed a walk around the reservoir.

We took a day trip with the Wilkins and Bethany's family.

Wilkins in Levan (June 9-16, 2018)

The Wilkins made the long trek to Utah and stayed for a week.
We loved every minute of it.
