Mitchells visit during Spring Break

Jason, Laura and family came down during Spring Break to visit and
buy another car. They ended up finding my new car and  buying one for
Jason's parents, in addition to buying their own new car.

They started out with General Conference.

Once in Levan we flew kites hoping to establish
whether the Air Force or Navy is best.
Anna visited the barnyard often.

Bethany helped us with a thrift shop craft project.
The dragon was sculpted using the goose as the base.

Jessica sculpted Devon and Cornwall.

We went out to dinner for Ben's birthday at a Mongolian Grill.

Then we had strawberry pie at Amy's BYU apartment.

Some of us walked thru the art museum.....

on our way to Amy's flute recital.

First Annual Pride Rock College Easter Picnic

We took Ben, Amy and Taylor to Bubble Rock  when they were down for the weekend in March.  It was decided that we should together host the first annual BYU Pride Rock Easter Egg Hunt in April.
Here's the crowd at broken eagle rock.

The event began with a picnic.

The picnic was followed by and epic egg hunt.

Sarah-Jane and Hans had their own private egg hunt.

Jordan and Taylor hid 40 plastic eggs and other treats.
The eggs had Sacagawea Dollars inside.

Taylor hid the golden egg.                                                 Amy found it!

The eggs were not easy to find or to get.
Three were never recovered at all!
Can you find an egg in the left photo?

Finally the group loaded into Ben's new
RAVE 4 and headed for the train tunnel.

Barnyard in April

Bethany had babies in the barnyard!
This is Ginger Snap: foal of Apples and Butler.

Butler died this month.  This photo was in his memory.

There were lots of baby goats.

Hans became an expert kid handler!

Babies in the barn yard brings visitors.

LaMar and Kathy Losee brought their little granddaughter down.

April Miscellaneous

Darrel sold his blue tempo for $400.
I cashed in my 401K and bought this 2016 Toyota Camri with 18,000 miles on it.

Dad, Beth and I put in our sprinkler system.

We had enough snow for a snowman.           Sarah-Jane on Easter Morning.
