June 2019 at a Glance:
June 5-12:  Bethany, Sarah-Jane and Hans were in Washington with Laura and her family.  They flew out and had a wonderful time.
June 7-17: Tyler and Katie were in England visiting Karrie and her family and enjoying the beauty and history there.
June 11: Kaylee flew in from Kentucky.  She and I spent the day exploring temple square. Janna, Abby, Ammon, and Sam flew in that night.
June 13: We had a combined birthday celebration for Abby and Bethany.
June 15:  We hosted our annual Father’s Day barbecue and trap shoot here in Levan.
June 17: Chris and Mary hosted a Father’s Day FHE in Payson for the family.  I picked up Angela at the airport this evening.
June 18:  We all hiked to the water fall at Bear Canyon Camp Ground.
June 19:  The girls went swimming today and then we took them to the Manti Pageant, along with the Smiths.
June 19-July 5: Sarah-Jane and Hans were with their Dad.
June 20: We took Angela and Kaylee to the new Aladdin Movie!  It was wonderful.
June 21: Janna and family left for Idaho. Darrrel and I hiked to Levan Cave with Angela and Kaylee.
June 22: Darrel needed to take care of a few things at Laura’s new condo near BYU.  Angela, Kaylee and I explored the gardens near the duck pond found on the southern part of BYU campus. Kaylee ended up with a little duckling that she named Sun Flower. She rescued the duck twice and circumstances suggested this little duck was a needed part of her Utah experience.
June 24: Today Darrel took the girls an a 4 wheeler adventure for a few hours.  We had a barbecue for FHE.
June 25:  We hiked to Timpanogos Cave with Angela and Kaylee today. We ran into Nancy, my cousin, in the cave.   Brenda and her crew headed up the trail just as we reached the bottom.
June 26:  The girls helped us clean our part of the church this morning and then went swimming at the Nephi pool with some Levan girls this afternoon.
June 27:  We rode up Payson Canyon and spent part of the day at the Shuler’s annual reunion and Payson Reservoir.  We hosted pack night this evening.  Apples panicked while pulling the cart and Darrel ended up with major rein burns on his hands and a bruise or two where the cart ran over him.  Most missed the whole event and cart rides were cancelled before they began. Our  horse was lame because her feet were clipped to close.
June 28:  Today was our water day with boating at Yuba.
June 29:  We visited the Bean Museum with the Smiths and had a picnic at Canyon Glen park.
June 30: Smith’s flew home.  We took Angela and Kaylee to the Freedom Festival fireside this evening.  Hayden crashed jumping his bike and broke his collar bone.  He ended up having it pinned and it limited his activities all summer long and into the soccer season. :(

Smiths come to Seminar

We were blessed to have the Smith's in and out for seminar.  We had a combined birthday celebration for Abby and Bethany.  They joined in many of the activities with Shellie's girls.  Taylor flew out for a week as well.  He was completely outfitted for his mission (With a few exceptions)  in one shopping trip and visited a few temples while here.
