October Odds and Ends

Union Pacific "Big Boy," the biggest steam engine
ever built came through Nephi, Utah.

Dad's work in his shop was a bit to up close
and personal and required 7 stitches.

I turned 63 on October 6th.

Shellie found Kaylee's duck while in Utah.

We inherited two beautiful grandchildren this month.
Hannah Michelle and Bryton Randel

Darrel and I cleaned out the ward nursery.
It was long over due.

One silage truck didn't survive the corn harvest.

It was the truck Darrel and Hans usually drove.
The driver, Drake Underwood, was their sub for the day.

Autumn didn't last long, but it was beautiful.

I made two trips to Maple Lake.
Notice the burned area at the top,
remnant of last year's big fire.

We were blessed to have Malea here for her 28th birthday.

We water colored together.  Our prompt was:
"Matter Unorganized."
This is the darling Nativity Malea crocheted for me.
