July 23, 2013:  The Mitchells arrived from Washington 

and the  Smiths return from Idaho after seeing Nana.

HOME-MADE ICE CREAM WITH THE SUAZOS

We did some kite flying while the ice cream churned.  One of the kids let the kite

 go. We thought it was history, but the string wrapped around our internet dish.

Mike (Kate's hubby) and Shawn (Rebecca's hubby) had to go retrieve the kite.

Lionel is still sporting a broken arm. :( He

fell over backwards and hit a sledge hammer.

Bradley is making bubbles for Kate, Sadie and Daniel.

Dad is working on the second batch of ice cream. We had white

chocolate, chocolate chip ice cream, and vanilla, blackberry ice cream.

MAKING EGG CARTON CARS WITH GRANDPA

This project was Bradley's idea and it worked very well. 

All the grand kids love to play Aunt Katie's Loopin' Louie game. The box died 

long ago, so I bought a new container since this popular game is no longer available.

Sarah-Jane came to visit. You can tell she's tired by the drunk money look.

Bradley and Daniel got to help Grandpa with some welding on the 

trailer project.   If Grandpa was home, we knew where the boys were.

One Sunday the kids decided to try on Aunt Andrea's shoes!

The finale featured all the animal house slippers.

Nathan was attracted to the flags. This shot is "Ode to Freedom'.

because Sheena was thirsty.

FHE: We talked about the armor of God and how it protects us.

One of Bradley's baptismal goals was to help  a 

grandparent do something that is hard for them.

He helped Great- Grandma Kenison clean her garage,

And dig up some bulbs.

Nathan was surprised to see Ammon in HIS seat!

Taylor has implants in both feet on July 15th, to correct his flat feet. (That 

came from the Smith side of the family.:)  The doctor was Dr. Clegg.

Taylor: just a few minutes after he arrived back to Levan. 

You'll notice he was a brother/cousin magnet.  Andrew was Taylor's 

devoted servant.  He faithfully stayed with day and night.  These brothers' 

devotion for each other reminded me of Joseph and Hyrum.

 We took Mary and Makell to the Hale Theater Junior
Production of Aladdin for Mary's Birthday on July 19th.

Grandpa took Karrie and Nathan up to Grandma Marvin's grave on July 21st.  
It was Karrie's first visit as she was unable to make it to Grandma's funeral.

 Nathan seemed to sense the sacredness of the place.

 Nathan loved the wind spinner on Matthew's grave.

On the way home, they took some pictures of the Payson Temple.
