THE TRAILER PROJECT!
This project has taken the better part of a year. Bethany traded a pony for an old
camp trailer. The trailer wasn't worth much, but it had a hefty frame. She decided
the disassemble the trailer and built an RV trailer. It was much more
work than she anticipated and of course it required Dad's able assistance.
These shots show the final stages of the project. The haze is from
sand blasting the trailer with black silica sand. Notice the new fenders. :)

For this particular day, Sarah-Jane brought her own private baby-sitter, Glory!
This is Dad reloading the sand blaster to return it to the Ash Grove Cement Plant.
Bethany managed to spray paint every square inch of the trailer...
But it wasn't easy!
By the time she finished she had a mustache like Hitler!

This is Dad applying the final coat with a roller.
The job went much faster when they both had a roller! They have demanded
such excellence in building this trailer that they may not be able to part with it.
It will be like a new trailer should it ever be completed. :)
Grandpa took the boys fishing after the trailer project was finished for the day.
Take a good look at the pole Daniel is holding because you will
never see it again. This pole is at the bottom of Yuba Reservoir.
Daniel forgot to hold on tight and we suppose a BIG carp stole it!
It was the classic tale of the fish that got away...with your pole! :(
