Janna had come in search of Spring and Temple Square has a corner on that this time of year.

Janna was afraid her kids wouldn't believe this without pictures.

Janna and Dad were my best assets when it came to putting together the 70 necklaces
featuring the Nauvoo Temple inverted star pattern for Relief Society on Mother's Day.
Scott and Janna helped me order the supplies from China.
With shipping the necklaces were just over $1.00 a piece.

We invited some a Boyd's closest Levan friends.
Boyd said this was his 2nd surprise birthday party in his whole life.
Joyce Johnson made his birthday cake.
We used number candles so we wouldn't need a burn permit. :)
Boyd said he had never cut a cake, even his own, in his whole life. Today was a first!!
He was a natural!

I made over 10 dozen cookies and over 100 doughnuts for
the ward Spring Fling and youth service auction while Janna and
Ammon were in Idaho checking on Nana and Art.

Ammon was the inspector and supervisor of this job.
Grandpa is designing a new bridge so these shots mark the end of
the era of the white bridge that Grandpa Marvin made many years ago.

Thanks for the great update! I especially appreciate the shared time with Grandma Anna, dangerously delicious looking cooking, and picturesque winter shots. My girls can't wait to come out!
ReplyDeleteNow I have NO choice but to believe that you are WAY TOO BUSY! I did want to see the end results for the necklaces. I just wasn't picturing it in my minds eye. The Temple ground are soo Beautiful!! Thank you for sharing them!!!

I was just wondering how you got them if they were taken in Florida... ;) It was so fun that Janna and Ammon came and that you had fun with them, Grandma Anna, and Andrea. Wish we could have been there! But, we are totally looking for to the fun in July! :)
