January 2017 began with a bang for Bethany. She was headed for Grandpa
Marvin's to learn how to braid a bull whip on Jan. 2, 2017. It was a stormy
day and the roads were slick. A lady pulled out in front of her and
she couldn't avoid the crash. Silvie fared better by a long shot as you can see.
Although the driver of this car had to be cut out because
the car door was so damaged and she was hauled off
in an ambulance, she had minor injuries and was home
by that evening. She was bruised and sore, but will recover.
Poor Silvie!
Jan. 3, 2017 Snowed In?
The following day there was another BIG snow storm.
Dad and Bethany had to make a trip to pick up her kids
as she was told early in the day they were snowed in
and he would not be able to make the trip down. This
shot was taken in the early afternoon following our shopping trip.
The year didn't start a lot better for Baby Wil.
He got a cute little camo-cast on the morning of January 5th. The Tibia was
broken on Dec. 30, 2016. It was not reported until the pick-up late on Jan. 3rd.
The Bee shed is being transformed into a wood working shop.
There are progress shots. We suspect it will be in full operation in 2017.

January was a month of great improvement for Grandma Anna. The liquid diet of prior months has been replaced by moresolids. She is doing projects that make her feel useful. Thisis one of the baby quilts she has tied. She attends her full blockof church rather than sacrament meeting and did a sealing session recently.
The drill team moms decorate the bus before each competition.
I had two runs this month so my bus has been pretty fancy!
This was a Broadway theme.
While they were dancing, Dad and I went to the temple and out to lunch.
Then we tended so Ty and Katie could go to the Hale Theater. Andrea
took be back to Draper so Dad could attend the adult session of Stake Conference
THE NEXT DRILL TRIP WAS STATE DRILL AT UVU.
The theme on the bus was "BEE the BETTER!"
I just parked at Katie's. Katie is packing some of the boxes I hauled in under
the bus. So much for no heavy lifting! I distracted the kids while Katie
showed there house that day. The favorite part was playing on the bus.
It was a pretty warm day (around 50) so we decided to enjoy the nice
swing set Grandpa made for them that they can't take to Arizona.
