4/14/18: Today was Troy Ballow’s funeral. There was a light-hearted, sweet spirit there, but
not the richness of Spirit that attends those who are bed-rock converted and
has served valiantly in the kingdom. It
made me grateful as I considered all I would have faced alone had Darrel been
taken when I was 51, the age that Ronda is. I
realized that Troy was good, but I am married to someone who is great! Alan stopped by with a check that represented
Darrel’s “inheritance.” I was touched
that Anna would have lived so frugally and had such much to leave her
children. It will be fun to see how each
chooses to use it. Darrel wanted solar
panels and it is apparent that Marv wanted a nice new truck.
