The main reason for our visit to San Antonio
was to support Jake in his re-enlistment.
He was honored discharged and then sworn in for another seven years in not
many minutes on September 18, 2019. (My parent's 67th wedding anniversary.)
Jake had arranged for us to receive certificates
of appreciation from the Navy.
We went out for lunch following . and then toured the base.
These are where military dogs are trained.
This is the dog transport.
We were able to attend the San Antonio Temple together.
It was a glorious occasion forever etched in my heart.
