Homefront in January 2015

We had a January thaw this year!

Sometimes the "Heat" of life makes you weary and you lose "face". Ever noticed?

That's when you need "somebody to lean on."

This is the afghan Joyce Johnson made me for Christmas.
Can you tell what the theme is?  I lined it with fur. :)
Iwanted to remember that I earned my Spiritual Fitness
degree from the University of Celestial Arts in 2015.

The Texans frolick in the snow!

When you are living in Texas, you have to take
advantage of an opportunity to play in snow! :)
That is what Colton.....

and Malea did for a couple of hours while here over the Christmas holiday.

The snow blade was not an asset!

Dad's four wheeler was more fun after he took the snow blade off ----
AND---- Malea took the wheel.  ;) This is snow surfing at its best.
Gear changes present a surfing challenge.

We loved having Malea and Colton here. We hope they come back soon!

New Year's Day 2015

On New Year's Day, after taking Andrea to the airport, I decided
there needed to be some action, so I put matters into my own hands
and before long we were headed for Yuba State Park.
On the way down we did some BIRD WATCHING and guess what we saw:
A Golden Eagle! How's your BIRD WATCHING going?

There are hundreds of little mud swallow nests under the bridge.

We all met at the Bean Museum for an activity when
the Potter's arrived in Utah County. (12/29/2014)

Grandpa with a frosty moose on the loose.

We found Malea and Colton!

The lambs in this nativity were real.

I love this painting.

Davis Christmas Party 12/27/2014

Shuler's hosted the Davis Christmas Party this year in Elk Ridge.

The crafts were fantastic as always.

The craft room was the warmest room, so some visiting took place in there.
