Of course Grandpa tuned up the 4-wheelers as best he could while there.
Abby was his best assistant.
Now for the bird watchers!
The birds were enjoying the high surf, too.
The long beak was deep in the sand searching for something.
We got to meet and feed the missionaries for FHE.
One of the Elders is from Manti. Janna said he
is the best
missionary they have had in their area for some time. They gave a great FHE
message before leaving. They showed a video clip illustrating Elder Bednar’s
talk about how the Spirit influences out lives. The one that was most meaningful
to me was his reference to walking on a foggy day. You can tell it isn’t night time
and can see enough to take a few steps. As you move forward, you find there
is sufficient light to keep going. Although it is not like turning on a light switch,
or even realizing that dawn has come, there is still light that is perceivable. :)
We flew home early and got home in time to do my pm bus run.
The clouds were amazing.
This was our "welcome home" storm.
These photos were taken from the bus waiting for the kids to come out.
