Fillmore was the first State Capitol of Utah. Every year there is a First Captiol
Arts Festival there. I got the bus run again and talked Dad into coming along.

This guy is a gun collector, mussel load hunter, and gun smith.
This fellow demonstrated Native American dancing and what it represents.
This elder man is a puppeteer and balloon sculptor. He patented
a mechanism that turns DI stuffed animals into puppets. The kids loved him.
The gun show was just ramping up, and this was my favorite. It made me smile!
We ran into Robert, one of Uncle Blaines sons. His display was bigger than last year.
He was commissioned to build and odometer like those used on wagons and handcarts.
He said it was a challenge, but this design is very accurate.

The art fair looks like so much fun! The look on Dad's face is priceless...especially with his shades flipped up. Makes him look like he has big bushy eyebrows! ;0) He needs to come fishing down here. People catch big fish like that all the time. (Just not us so far.)
