Coronado Island

Sunday morning we woke up on Utah Bus driving time, so we decided to 

go for a drive over o Coronado Island before heading to Jake's for Church.

 This is the bridge you have to drive over to get there.  It is
high enough for the U.S.S. Boxer to drive under.
There are suicide counseling signs on both sides. Huh?

 What started out as a desert island with lots of rabbits 

and some skinny sage brush now looks like this!

The surf was beautiful as we walked along the beach.  

We got some funny looks as we were in our Sunday clothes. 

 This Hotel is the landmark of the island.

 

 It really is a kind of paradise.

 I loved this gnarly old tree nearby street clock.

 This is Jake's apartment...The one with the American Flag.

Yep!  We were at the right place!
