Janna, Ammon and Baby Sam had a flight out of SL Airport the afternoon of
April 5. We decided to do a session at the Provo City Center Temple that
morning. The temple has only been open for a couple of weeks and it was packed!
We paused for one quick picture on our way in.
Note: We
were later getting there than we wanted to.
It was a photo finish at best and
the temple was packed because it has
only been opened for a couple of weeks.
The
10:00 a.m. session was full and there were two rows of people
already waiting for the
next session.
Janna looked at me with concern and disappointment. I suggested that
she mention her situation to
the nice temple worker. She about her flight that afternoon.
The worked
said, “Wait on the back row for a minute.”
She came back and
said, “There are three seats left, so if there are
only three of you follow me.” All three
of us sat on the men's side, but we were so grateful to be there. Janna would
have missed
so much of the temple if we hadn’t been on a session. We felt some divine intervention
and that
made our experience extra special. You
will love this temple!

The Hursts kept Janna's boys so we could all go together.
Sister Hurst had lunch waiting for us when we returned.
This is one of Elder Hurst's retirement projects.
I got pictures so Dad could put it on his list.

What a great way to end a great trip! I definitely think grandpa should make the cow train. Maybe a pig or two could join the train. :) I can't wait to see all the new temples in person.
